IV Infusion Therapy. This is the newest health trend to hit the market in major metropolitan cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and now South Beach. You ask, what exactly is this therapy, and so did I! IV Infusion Therapy is just as it sounds, it is an IV therapy that takes place at a med spa under the supervision of a Board Certified Physician, and provides IV infusions that rapidly counter the stress and free radicals on your body, fatigue, dehydration and the effects of a hard partying or exhausting lifestyle.
There are several different kinds of IV infusions, such as the dehydration infusion, the hangover infusion, the sunburn infusion, the vitamin infusion and the hard partying infusion. The cost ranges from $125.00 – $200.00, and the people I have talked to that have tried these therapies swear by them. Had this trend been released a decade ago, I am confident I would have been one of their best clients. However, in the days of going to bed at 10:00 pm, and a wild night consisting of a few drinks with friends, I wonder if I am the ideal customer. With that being said, I am still very intrigued. I have thoroughly researched the pros and cons of Infusion Therapy, and have to admit, there doesn’t seem to be any cons.
Recently, I was invited to the opening party for South Beach’s new Infusion Therapy Med Spa. As I scanned over the menu at Reviv, I noticed they offer a variety of services in addition to the IV Infusions, such as B12 and Lipotropic injections. Boy, how things have changed in the last decade. No longer are the days of vitamin water and hangover pills. Now, you can get a quick fix in a matter of minutes.
So, is IV Infusion Therapy another passing fad? Or is this therapy that Rhianna, Jay Z and Simon Cowell partake in here to stay? Would you fork over an hour of your time, and $150.00 to quickly cure that horrible hangover, or have you already? Before I guinea pig myself for this new trend, like I have for so many others, I would love some quality feedback.

Yes, I would fork over a large amount of money for a bad hangover. I’ll be your guinea pig, you pay:)
Meredith – So would a special lady named Kristin.
Thanks for the article. I will be trying this very soon.
Michael, glad to hear you will try IV Infusion Therapy. I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Best wishes,

Hi. Can you reply with more information once you have a chance to try it out? Thx – Susan
Hi Susan! I will have the opportunity to experience Infusion Therapy at Reviv in South Beach this coming weekend. I will make sure to report back with a full feature on my experience and Reviv. I have had quite a bit of contact with one of the owners, and my dealings have been all positive. He has been extremely professional and informative. Stay tuned for the feature, and Reviv has been kind enough to donate an infusion to the September contest & giveaway winner. Don’t forget to enter to win. Yours truly, Kacy
hoping this therapies are supervised by well train md’s. cause a person with an underline condition or cardiac problems might get a fluid overload and die
Dear Cuca,
Thanks for your feedback. Indeed, the IV infusions are administered by Board Certified physicians. I will be trying it out myself, and reporting back in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
Fondly,
Kacy
Dear Cuca,
I wanted to let you know that I personally tried the Infusion therapy at Reviv in South Beach last weekend. I can honestly say that both my husband and I had a wonderful experience. I will be featuring my entire experience this week on Fabulous City Chic, so stay tuned.
Best regards,
Kacy
Dear Kacy,
Neat Post, Magnet therapy has been around for centuries as a way to relieve muscle or joint pain through magnets, which are placed close to the skin. The magnets can be used in a variety of ways, either fashioned into jewelry, placed under a mattress or pillow, inside a shoe, belt or any article of clothing, or put inside a wrist or ankle strap. You can also have magnet therapy at a med spa, where a practitioner will submit your body to certain doses of magnetic energy in the hopes of achieving a beneficial effect.
Great Job!
